Growing up in the little corner of Northwest Indiana, Tessa Cheek knows how to create a little sparkle wherever she goes. As an extrovert who enjoys being involved and in the center of all the action- she helps keep the residency program running smoothly and the team laughing on even the busiest days. With her upbeat attitude, strong organizational skills, and her passion for crafting learning environments, Tessa loves creating a space where residents and faculty feel supported, encouraged, and set up for success.
Before joining Northwest Health, Tessa spent several years learning the art of multitasking in office management. Whether she was coordinating schedules, solving problems on the fly, or helping clients navigate tricky questions, she built a reputation for being the calm, reliable, and friendly person everyone was happy to see walk through the door.
Tessa brings that same energy to the Internal Medicine program—keeping paperwork in check & communication flowing. She believes a good sense of humor along with a welcoming smile and a listening ear go a long way in the fast-paced world of healthcare and the general flow of life.
Outside of her professional role, Tessa enjoys staying involved in the community through events at her church, working as a freelance photographer and lastly staying busy by enjoying the world around her. She loves spending time with the people she cherishes most. There is no part of life that she wants to miss!
