Our program allows residents to receive a comprehensive, well-rounded education while also allowing you to tailor the residency to your interest by offering more elective experiences than most programs.
We have brought together a highly qualified, diverse staff to work together as a single unit to meet the needs of our patients and give our residents the best education and experience for their residency. This staff includes dental, behavioral health, optometry, and pharmacy in addition to the expert family medicine faculty you will work with daily. All providers are excited to be working as a team with resident physicians to manage our patients. The FMP site also includes dental and pharmacy residency programs which allow our residents the opportunity to interact with learners from the different specialties.
Our outpatient FMP clinic is an FQHC where you will see a wide array of patients with different backgrounds and needs. This allows our residents to have a truly positive impact on our community.
Valparaiso is a university town that offers the amenities of a college town and a great place to raise a family. We are within 20 minutes of Lake Michigan and an hour drive to Chicago, one of the greatest cities in the world.
