What drew me toward Internal Medicine is the breadth of the field—managing diseases across multiple organ systems rather than focusing on a single specialty. I enjoy the thoughtful, detail-oriented approach it requires, along with the strong emphasis on clinical reasoning and careful observation. I also value the collaborative nature of Internal Medicine, as it involves constant teamwork with other specialties, making the work both dynamic and rewarding.
I am excited to begin this new phase of my journey as an Internal Medicine resident at Northwest Health Porter.
