Fun fact: Before becoming a doctor, I wanted to become a teacher—and in many ways, I still think I became one.
I am excited to begin my internal medicine residency at Northwest Health — Porter as a PGY-1 in June 2026. I chose internal medicine because I love the challenge of solving complex clinical problems while building meaningful relationships with patients and their families. For me, every patient encounter is an opportunity to learn, serve, and grow.
My passion for medicine has always been driven by curiosity – I’ve always been the person asking “why?” That curiosity led me toward research, teaching, and ultimately a career in medicine. Over time, I developed a strong interest in cardiovascular medicine, and my long-term goal is to pursue a fellowship in Cardiology while continuing to contribute to research and medical education.
I was drawn to Northwest Health – Porter because of its strong sense of community, supportive learning environment, and commitment to developing well-rounded physicians. I’m excited to train alongside colleagues and mentors who share the same passion for patient-centered care and lifelong learning.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy long walks, trekking, spending time with friends, and exploring new cultures and places. I especially love discovering old architecture and historical sites – there’s something inspiring about learning the stories behind places and how they have evolved over time. I also enjoy playing badminton and going on scenic rides whenever I get the chance.
