Matching into an internal medicine residency at Northwest Health Porter is no less than a family dream come true. This was more than a career step; it’s the fulfillment of a shared vision and a testament to resilience. I enjoy problem-solving, continuous learning, and building long-term patient relationships, which attracted my interest in Internal Medicine. It was further fueled by my clinical experience in the United States, which taught me the importance of evidence-based care and protocol-based care. Outside of medicine, my hobbies such as mandala help me find and treat the intricacies of patient diagnosis. In my future, I plan to be in a teaching hospital, mentoring the upcoming medical students and budding residents while equally learning new things from them.
