Being a first-generation physician has shaped my perspective on medicine as both a responsibility and a privilege. I developed a strong interest in delivering patient care that is thoughtful, effective, and as minimally invasive as possible.
My experience as an observer at Northwest Health Porter confirmed what I was looking for in a training program. The supportive faculty, strong academics, and hands-on clinical exposure made it a place where I felt comfortable learning and growing.
As I begin my residency, I am grateful for the opportunity to train in an environment that encourages both learning and independence. I look forward to developing into a well-rounded physician while exploring my interests within internal medicine and discovering where I truly belong in the vast field of medicine.
