From India to Indiana, my path to internal medicine has been shaped by one core realization: it’s the ultimate team sport. It sits at the intersection of every specialty, demanding a sharp mind along with the profound privilege of being entrusted with each patient’s story, and caring for them during their most vulnerable times. Matching into Northwest Health has been a milestone I am truly grateful for, as it aligns closely with my long-term vision. I hope to build a community-academic hybrid career that bridges outpatient preventive care with inpatient medicine. This program gives me the ideal foundation to pursue what I love—passing hands-on skills through teaching, exploring leadership, and deeply engaging with the community.
